1st interaction for Kyle: Lawyers stated Rosenbaum approached Rittenhouse and attempted to "engage" him. Afraid, Rittenhouse took off running and Rosenbaum gave chase. Videos of the incident show that Rosenbaum eventually threw the plastic bag he was carrying at Rittenhouse, who responded by firing four shots at the man. A witness said that Rosenbaum had reached for Rittenhouse's gun, as well. Girlfriend said he had mental health issues and was on medication.
That is a rough interaction! That was just the beginning.
2nd interaction: Rittenhouse panicked and set off running away from the scene of the fatal shooting, toward a police line. But along the way, several protesters who believed Rittenhouse was an active shooter began chasing after him. Anthony Huber was among them. Just because someone believed him to be an active shooter (but he wasn't) does not convict Kyle of intentional homicide. Kyle was not convicted of the charges. If the charges were lesser he might have been charged. No one is saying he didn't kill anyone.
3rd interaction was with the man with the pistol. So, how exactly was a 17-year old supposed to manage the situation, again? I must have missed that in my psychology classes. Was he Special Forces?
They believed he was an active shooter.
He believed they were out to kill him.
America sees the AR and gets triggered. That's why I said people mind their own business and not try to be a hero against someone with ANY gun. He could have called the police and gave them the description.
