Here we go again.

I’ve written articles detailing how people can protect themselves, generally speaking. And I’ve written an article for women on personal safety.

I’ll ask that you share this article as much as you can. Personal safety is still a public concern. Every day something happens in every city. Please protect yourself and help your friends and family by providing them with information that may find them at the right time.

One particular event I’m thinking of is a stabbing that occurred at someone’s home.

But, there are numerous occasions for any number of attacks. Are you safe in your home? The quick answer is no. You’re not safe anywhere, in actuality. Medieval kings showed this when their kingdoms were attacked from within their castle walls. Supposed friends and family.

So, what can you do?

You can only do one thing.

Have the ability to defend the area that you deem safe, to continue to make it a safe environment. Now, making it easy for entrance is already a step in the wrong direction, but if you live in a trailer, you are quite vulnerable. The place I live: the first floor is a parking lot that is enclosed with bars, walls, and locked doors. After someone gains entrance to this location they need another key or code to move from the parking lot to the first floor people live on. Then, a person needs a key or code for the condo door.

Then, in my home, there is one more security feature: me

Do not make it easy for someone to steal from you, injure you, or take your life. You do not have anyone to call, you don’t have time. You don’t have anyone to scream to, they don’t have time. You don't have anything to unlock before you engage the perp, you don’t have time. You don’t have anything to put together to use as a weapon, you don’t have time.
