Before I was a father, I would have said there should be child-free places, yes. That seems to be pretty basic and common sense. Just as spouses need a break and time off, so do parents has a couple. It's called a "date." The same reason why introverts like myself stay home a lot of the time, because we need a break from humans. What gets me fired up the most is people who lack reasoning skills get to speak at all. Society would bound forward without impediment if people who had a hard time understanding simple concepts just kept their opinions to themselves. It's called humility. When it comes to things I know nothing about, such as astrophysics, I have absolutely no opinion about it and have absolutely no issue telling anyone that I have zero connection. However, I have massive experience in this exact situation. A person who would disagree with child-free spaces is a person who doesn't understand why celebrities have depression. That is, and of itself, an inability to see reality.
