Correct. There are some mishaps on the kid's part, for sure. But, we gave judges the discernment clause and a little freedom to rule as seem fair, especially for 1st offenses. We see judges do this all the time. I seen a racist judge against a single-mother with 3 kids when the law could have slammed the ex-husband with a brutal $5,000/month in child support. But, she got nothing, not even $50. Even the lawyer said, "umm, well it is evident the judge is racist." But anyways, I'm okay with Kyle being charged with a Class A misdemeanor.

I would be interested in discussing racism further with you. I just wish I had time, but would only have time in written correspondence. You seem like you could actually hold a solid conversation with stories you disagree with. I know for me, in relation to the story you linked to me, I don't use the "racist" in regards to the officer.
