I run economically conservative and can see the common sense fact of higher wages, as the cost of a car over 2 million dollars is $50,000+ per month, so many are pocketing a ton of money. And like you said, there is a line of how much an employer can go up before that millionaire relocates the business. We don't want that, either.

I don't agree with $15 an hour ($30,000 a year) minimum wage for many reasons. Some are: I started at $15 or so when I began working in mental health, after needing a bachelor's degree, and I had already worked 5 years in the military police. There should be a line where professional experience isn't punished. Another reason is higher pay promotes anti-growth of employees. I believe in helping people move up and expand skills. I would compromise and say $13, as minimum wage includes teenagers.

I also promote cash business. As does my accountant wife and most bankers. Not "cash-only business," as that is a negative term that limits a company. What I'm saying is, cash gives the businesses money right away and cuts out on all the hidden charges and loops the business has to jump through. Money on hand is total money value.

Which is why we pay more for items. We pay way over the value of items with tax and surcharge and cash cuts out surcharge that I call "Big business passive income scam."

Additionally, there are small businesses that need employees in order to grow. The owner needs time to do owner stuff. $13 is good, but making small business shove out $30,000 for a high schoolers and week-workers (I worked in supported employment and know a ton of worker behavior).

I supprt minimum wage per history and experience. No one probably has heard of that one.
