Regarding men laughing about mutilating women, I agree what you said. The world would crush them. I think that goes back to a psychological concept in which both, men and women, are designed to protect the innocence, femininity, and dignity of women. Due to femininity being attractive to men and it signaling "little girl" for women.

Even the military has a double standard for women in regards to physical and appearance standards based on gender, but I do agree with you that there should be a public mutual respect standard for both, men and women. The funny part, is I'm a supporter of different standards in general based on biological, neurological, and psychological differences between men and women lol.

When it comes to those women who complain: women, in general, are born communicators (as seen in history as "women love to gossip with other women") and I view the reason women who complain instead of gossip, as emotional hurt.
