Personally, I agree with you. As a man, men should be able to do common tasks of cleanliness and family, just as they claim professionalism in the workplace.

But I'm sure you have heard or read women saying that about dishwashing. I've read about it and I've heard women, in-person, say it. And my wife was the one who said that about the baby. The reason my wife said it, is our baby can at times stay awake until someone walks the floor for 30 minutes to 3 hours. Our baby's stayed awake for 2 hours proving it, then after 5 minutes of picking her up, she's sleeping. My wife can't physically do it for as long as is needed, since the baby is now too long for her. So for her, to see a man take the baby from her, instinctively, and sweat and screw his service-connected bad back up more and successfully put the baby to sleep (while he's in so much pain that his body feels like it's splitting in half), I think we give some slack. Me doing that should be the exception of what you said. I now constantly walk with a hurt back and shoulder, 24/7 after the Department of the Veteran Affairs got it back in place.

But, again, I agree. Men should perform all household tasks. I do. I try to do the most, but since I'm in school again it isn't possible.
