To answer the question of the subtitle: If everyone hates being cheated on, that should get just as much leverage and respect as any other percentage.

Since everyone hates when their significant other lies, but everyone lies, which one wins? The one that hurts the other person or the one that tells us to get over our selfishness and think of someone other than ourselves?

If we do only think of ourselves in relationship, then we have kids, there is no research that shows we change. But there is research that shows broken homes f*** up children.

But the article is well written and the author did a great job at establishing the reasons why.
